Re: you are welcome. are the ....
Hi David, thanks mate.
I attempted to ensure those bridge bulkheads fitted flush with the hull. I didn't quite get them to match, hence the model not being perfectly flush with the hull. But, I got a much better result than than straight from the kit by adding a plastic card bulkhead behind the bridge and re-aligning some bridge parts. As you probably know, the superstructure doesn't sit too well so I added extra plastic to butruss that to the deck with good results.
forward port & starboard bulkheads of the superstructure right at the edge of the deck & hull with no lip formed there?
Hi all. My latest assembled model shown.
DML Modern Seapower Series 350 scale. I also used Tetra PE railing and helo netting set.
A note of thanks to the gentleman on Steelnavy forum who provided plans to enable me to do a better model.
Not a perfect job, but I'm going to continue to build these Spruance kits until I can get them perfectly assembled. This may eventually entail all 31 Spruances being assembled!
Just on these Destroyers and specifically Litton, is there any plans / diagrams on the Launching Platform that they use to launch their ships? It'd be great to mount my model on the platform as a diorama.
