The people at Testors were not the sharpest knives in the drawer.
My personal experience in dealing with the people of Testors were they really quite arrogant. They had somewhat of monopoly for a long time, subcontracted out their production and could care less about quality control and historical accuracy. As kids moved away from models to video games they did not mature to the remaining modelers demands. If there was a bad decision to be made they made it .
I dropped them sometime around 1998. Never looked back.
Mcw was supposed to be a replacement of model Master enamels but im NOT impressed at all..it airbrushes ok, but brushing stinks.. the chemical make up is nothing like the MM line paints, Rustoleum sucks for taking away my paint..learning to use Tamiya and Mission Models but it aint the same at all..
