for the boiler so you need stationary engineers aka boiler men.
I understand that Australia has never had any nuclear power plants for background training, so I was thinking that the training of the forces will have to be slow.
Agreed, I'm sure there will be crew exchange rotations between RAN, RN, and USN officers and crews. Since it will take a number of years for these nuclear boats built, there should be a certain level of nuclear competency built up by then.
Just curious, why wouldn't the RAN desire VLS tubes?
