I haven't checked any dimensions, but the hump in the flight deck looks correct to me. This feature was used to slow down planes that had landed by making them 'go uphill'.
Remember this ship was converted before the introduction of arrester wires and at a time when planes were still relatively slow and light in comparison with those that came later.
Humped flight decks were found on most of the early RN carriers.
On a different nore from the perceived errors in the model: why the undulating flight deck as well as the rounddown at the aft end of the flight deck?
