Re: PE for Trumpeter 350 scale Richelieu
Yes, L'Arsenal makes (or, a decade ago, made) a very good set of PE for the Trumpeter 1/350 Richelieu. They also included some parts for a foremast that the kit lacks (it apparently wasn't installed until 1945, as the kit shows the ship in its initial US rebuild of 1943). L'Arsenal's instructions leave a little to be desired -- they bluntly state that the plastic kit has numerous errors, but do not list what or where they are. And the backward/mirror image metal anchor plates embedded in the plastic forecastle are not corrected by the PE set. Where L'Arsenal admirably succeeds is in the 40mm quad Bofors (which are significantly overscale in plastic) and the 20 mm Oerlikons. I'm still suspicious of their main deck railing; the stanchions seem to far apart.
L'Arsenal made an upgrade set that included a bunch of PE.
Does any one make a set of PE for this kit besides Flyhawk?
