Cruisers... it's getting better. When Indianapolis & San Francisco came then life was getting good. I can remember when a 1/350 cruiser was that poorly made Italian Navy Polo that came with a set up for a electric motor and a mutated lump of plastic for a scout aircraft.
Heck, we have a Cleveland now.
Carriers? There is no Illustrious but from the USN side it's fantastic. You have Lexington to Yorktown to Independence to Ranger to Essex to Langley. Heck, there is even the CVE Gamber Bay, too. I guess my only "whine" is a post 1943 fit of Enterprise isn't made. For the fans of post WWII carriers the only thing you're lacking are Forrestal and a Midway class.
I want a Ranger but due to inflation & an absolutely huge stash of models that may never be built.
Life is good. Honestly, I can't complain. There are more kits than I have time for or can afford.
Anyway... my "nice to have an option to by list" in 1/350
