Perhaps a touch on the light side for portraying Home Fleet Grey, but it's always shaky ground judging by a photograph. My old Samsung phone took great photos of models. My DSLR seems to take dark photos. My current Google Pixel takes pretty photos of most things but my own camouflage paints come out looking like psychedelic abominations I'd expect to see out of certain Spanish companies!
I wouldn't condemn your HMS Exeter on the strength of an opinion of one photograph from the likes of me!
I just rechecked email correspondence - I did provide them a colour profile for HMS Hood with recommended paints based upon my own line drawing, but I didn't colour in their 3D model export line drawing for them which I have done previously for a couple of other models.
This is what I sent them, and I suggested that our US04 5-D Dark Gray might be in the right ballpark for the Peacock & Buchan's anti-fouling grey based on how it appears next to Home Fleet Grey which we have a good understanding of:
I also wrote a blog post last week about the anti-fouling paint with a further graphic giving an idea of how the layers of paint would have looked on the lower hull.
Good luck with the model.
