I will give it a shot. NARN21 for the hull and Humbrol 125 for the antifoiling. We shall see!
I'm afraid I don't have it to say for sure. We believe Peacock and Buchan's anti-fouling was darker than Home Fleet Grey based on photos of Hood out of water freshly painted (it fades to a lighter than HFG shade by same means of assessment). We don't know the hue but my own working assumption is that it was probably neutral grey.
I won't be adding branded anti-fouling paints to my range without more solid evidence available, but for modellers in the mean time I've been suggesting US Navy 5-D Dark Gray has approximately the right relationship tonally with Home Fleet Grey to use on ships with Peacock & Buchan's anti-fouling grey.
For the anti-foiling part, in your opinion, would Humbrol 125 (US Dark Gray) work?
Also, would you recommend NARN21 over NARN20 for the Hood circa 1941?
