Agreed. It would have been an elongated HMS Renown with an extra turret. Also, if she had survived the war, no doubt would have suffered the same ignominious fate as Renown - The British being "sentimental" and all....
I think there would have been a strong resemblance to the rebuilt RENOWN.
Hood remains my all time favorite battleship/battlecruiser. Has any company ever released her in a final, modernized form. I think that would be a good selling kit in whatever scale. Guess one can hope.
My Flyhawk HMS Hood (deluxe version) docked yesterday. The detail is very fine and the fit is excellent.
It comes full hull and a stand to boot for you full-hull builders out there.
This is a stunning kit. It should build up into a fantastic representation of the Hood in he final fit.
