Hi Tim, sorry to hear about your loved one.
Know exactly where you're at with your feelings - a few short years ago my Brother was in the same state in the hospital. It sure was a shocking time for our family.
He made it thru fortunately due to world class hospital care and is pretty well back to normal.
I trust that you have family and friends to lean on. Talking with someone helps.
Thank you to all of you.
Yesterday, a very nice gentleman from the model club I've recently joined, came over and gave my PCA - Steve, a lesson in Scale Modeling 101. He gave us a ton of stuff, like a cutting board, sanding sticks, a couple of drill bits, mixing cups, sanding sponges, a full bottle of thinner for enamels.
He also gave us a box set of 1:96 planes from Lindberg, a F-4U, a F6-F, a F7-U and a F-80 to test my aide's abilities on before we do my 1:72 HOBBY BOSS P-39 Airacobra. I ordered a set of X-Acto knives, Tamiya's side cutters, a spray booth, magnifier glasses and an air brush with a compressor from Amazon.
I was positively gobsmacked at everything he just gave us.
And, as a sidebar; please, keep my ladyfriend Maggie Lynn in your thoughts. The surgery she had a couple of weeks ago apparently was not a success. She needs another operation to correct the first one. But, they can't do it until her BP is stablized, it's so low that she can't even stand without passing out.
I am beside myself.
