Re: Heller R98 CLEMENCEAU.
need your email address to send them to you as 47 filers at 35megs.
Gidday David, thank you for your interest, the model is best displayed prior to the bulges being added to Le Clem so early in the career.
Access to some detailed plans such as your would be appreciated.
John, what time period are you doing the model as I have the 1957 plans of her from the French naval site before it got hacked & shut down?
Here's what I've been at work on very recently - not so much of a conversion to a Super Yacht but a restoration from my model ship "Boneyard".
It's the Heller Clem-a-soo in 1/400 scale that I've brought back to life and will proudly display.
Looks like sometime between 1987 when I originally built the model, and now, Heller substantially retooled the kit as mine doesn't have the hull bulges, or catapult horn etc. that the newer kit has.
Along the way the model has lost some of it's guns, and all planes so I still need to source additional guns and the planes. I see L'Arsenal 2.0 sell that + photo etched radar so the model is not yet finished.
I've gone back and created a more accurate deck edge lift and rebuilt the hangar bay opening/doors as well as creating a new mast. Thanks to the internet there's plenty of photos of the ship to work of.
