I've used these thinners for years and think Michaels is right. Ultimate Thinners are formulated for acrylics only. One of the constituents is IPA, you can smell it. Also, as Michaels wrote, it is "specially formulated to work will all brands of acrylics". There is no mention of lacquer based paints.
"Our Ultimate Airbrush Thinner is specifically formulated to work with ALL brands of acrylic modellers paint, ours is the only brand of modellers acrylic thinner in the world able to claim this!
"Our blended formula of six ingredients ensures a fast drying, smooth finish every time, no matter what brand of modelling acrylic paint you use."
Furthermore, there is NO Mention of anything but acrylics on their "Thinner to Paint Ratio Chart."
As they make it and sell it, I presume they know more about it anyone else, include you or me. I personally have no experience it with it, but based on what they say, I wouldn't try to use it to thin enamels or lacquers.
