Once again for the slow.....
.....I did not write the article this thread is about. What part of that is unclear to you?
Jeff Herne did not steal anything. Neither Did Tracy White steal anything and a lot of his early stuff, specifically relating ti 1941/42 camouflage documents came from me. Neither was charged anything. Now any more lies or assumptions you'd like to spread?
As for what Jeff, wrote, his words and yes he had a number of photos from me over the years. I did give a quick read before it was posted and my comments had to do with the omission of some minor points such as the recall orders for 5-D in the cease manufacture and use orders along with catching an odd wording in one spot. So missed an error, whoop de ####ing do!
You wrote the article "The colors of Pearl Harbor 5-D vs 5-S and Other Fun stuff". To say that you didn't is a total lie.
Here is another quote from that article to jog your memory!
"By now everyone wants to see Arizona in blue, well sorry folks you'll just have to wait for publication as that is THE cherry to all this. Remember, I promised to publish the North Carolina information with cites and I did so when I was ready, the same is true here."
Either this author is pretending to be you or he has stolen your research. Which is it?
I can send you a copy of it to refresh your memory if you don't have a copy!
Jeff Herne claims that he wrote the article "US Navy Camouflage and Color Doctrine-January 1 to December 16, 1941." but we all know that if he did write it then he is writing your research, your words, and your conclusions. He listed you as a contributor so it would be in your best interest to proof read it before you allowed your work to be put in someone else article.
Once again, I am not the author.
...the end all be all!
In one sentence you say USS Oklahoma was wearing Measure 1, overall 5-D Dark Gray on December 7. Then later on you listed her as wearing Measure 12 using 5-D on her hill, 5-O on her superstructure....
Which one of these is true with the "irrefutable evidence" you have?
Maybe both? Maybe she was MS-1 on the port side and MS-12 on the starboard side!
Oops! It looks like you guys took the article down!
