Revell 1/144 SEA SHADOW stealth research vessel.
It was a nice easy build that didn't turn out too shabby. It was second hand. The kit had already been started with the interior being built so I just needed to finish assembling and paint.
An interesting kit which was printed in the U.S.A. and molded in Denmark.
Unfortunately the decals supplied in the kit just fell to pieces in my water bath so I had to improvise the "529" hull numbers and SEA SHADOW name pennants.
It's been finished using Humbrol enamals 27 & 67 and interior spaces 64. Spray painted Mr Super Smooth Clear to give the exterior that matted "stealthy" finish.
This is my first SWATH model ship so it's pretty special from my passion for naval architecure and ship design.
It's mother ship was the former Hughes Mining Barge which had a very colourful history and would be an interesting subject to model also in 1/144 scale.
