Re: One wonders if...
The Channel Isles made the rules with France directly and have been in use long before the EU even started
Amazing how many people on this web site are ignorant. The rules were made by the EU and approved by England when they were in the EU. Now they want to change the rules. They are like petulant childs who do not want to play with others unless the rules are in their favor.
Hot air will always rise
and the French will always complain or go on strike when their advantages are being talked about and may be lost. Irrelvant whether it's fish, apples, tomatoes, cheese or what ever
Someone has been inhaling way too much CA fumes!!!!!!!
the previous rules were set by FRANCE FOR THE FRENCH FISHERMEN and stuff the UK!
how would you react if the Chinese were given 99% of the fishing rights in San Fransisco bay, Chesapeke bay, and Long island sound!
Considering that France provides over 90% of the power to Jersey Island they should increase the rates and compensate the French fishermen . By the way Jersey was never part of the Eu it is a Crown dependency. ]Why are they changing the rules now, France did follow the previous rules that were sets without any issues.
