I guess I would say it's up to one's tastes to buy the cheaper version.
I suppose one could buy it for conversion or fantasy (what if) purposes - and does not really care about the small weapons in question if one is so inclined.
I suspect many builders will simply build it as is and be happy about it. But, who's to say?
Because itís a joint product of Blue Ridge and Very Fire and inaccurate because of the missing parts. But behold ! Blue Ridge just so happens to make the missing parts with the exception of the floater net baskets and for more money than the expensive version you can buy the 3D printed 1/700 parts and bring your inexpensive kit up to date. Geez what a planned manipulation.
Tamiya may not be a terribly accurate offering but a least it was a best attempt of an honest offering which can not be said of Very Fire and Blue Ridge
There was a discussion down the board a bit about lack of shielding on the 40mms and floater net baskets on the basic version of the kit.
However, if one invests in the deluxe version of the kit, everything is present. The included PE adds everything one needs - Nothing needs to be added aftermarket. In addition, the detail on the kit is outstanding - light years ahead of the old Tamiya version.
