Re: Early WWII, Mark 6 ash can. n/t
A MK6 depth charge was 17.625 inches in diameter (per docs on HNSA). So; 17.625/700 is 0.28 -- call it 30 thou.
A MK7 was 24.875 inches. Call it 40 thou diameter in 700 scale
Cases on either were 27.675 inches. Make it 35 thou
what time period & what mark number of the depth charge as different versions? http://www.navweaps.com/Weapons/WAMUS_ASW.php#Mark_4
When creating US depth charges in 1/700 scale, what dimensions do people use? Round stock of ? diameter and how long? Thanks in advance.
