Re: eBook Vs physical book
Sorry for more hijacking, but....
Awhile back my wife got me a Hornfischer book via Kindle and I couldn't read the maps. Is that common in the Kindle world or was that me being a putz and not knowing how to enlarge the image?
No 'e' book will ever be able to reproduce the photos or drawings to the size or quality of a actual book. As for fold out pages...!
MMD, think of Squadron. When Squadron, run by MMD, went belly up, they owed Steve a large amount of money of which he is likely to see nothing. To get to the minor food fight over e-books, I think you can call them books but I want a physical book that is not dependant on electrons hanging around. Having just reviewed Steve's German Battleships 1909-1919, a superb product by the way and very economical, I can't imagine how an e-book could match the high quality of the photographs printed on glossy paper.
