Many thanks for this nice series of photos, you are guessing why no 1/700 La Motte-Picquet kit ?
Just have a look at the very tricky to reproduce lattice mast and antennas and you have the answer !
Also it is very interesting to see how the ship has evolved in terms of sensors and weapons since her commissionning.

Here photos of the visit of the French Georges Leygues class frigate La Motte-Picquet :
French frigate La Motte-Picquet in Copenhagen
She was laying next to the Danish frigate Absalon - a dramatic contrast between the stylea of the 1980s and 2000s. It provided the opportunity to photograph La Motte-Picquet from above.
La Motte-Picquet served from 1988 to 2020. Unfortunately, there is still no 1/700 kit available.
