I have built 2 small resin kits with white glue and I think they turned out well. The 2 kits are Jag's Coast Guard cutter Bear and Flagship Models torpedo boat Winslow. Both kits had photo-etch and the Winslow also used white metal parts. The white glue I used (Crafter's Pick from Hobby Lobby)adhered well to both and seemed to provide strong joins. Both are now several years old and do not require any maintenance.

I use white glue for tacking photo-etch to resin or mold injected. I use white glue when gluing resin to mold injected so why not white glue when building resin models? Why CAs?
