I've painted the acrylic lacquers on top of enamels, but the enamels were long dry. This was when they were the only way to get Japanese tank colours.
I do it all the time and have never had a problem. Especially with aircraft as while I like Tamiya Acrylics there are some colours I prefer enamel makes of.
Just make sure it's dry, and if possible use the acrylic on top of the enamel rather than the other way round. Some acrylics are hardier than others so if you want the put enamel on top test it first.
Lacquer based paints are a whole different thing. Don't put them on top of anything else. You can put what you like on top of them, but not the other way round.
