Loved that movie and still do! The NIMITZ and associated escort ships - even though they left early in the movie - as well as the planes are the super stars and those Hollywood actors were just secondary. I wish that they had made the movie to also include DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER so the two giants could been seen operating together. Great line by Kirk Douglas - "Turn the NIMITZ into the wind". Wish I could do that!
