Oh yeah!!! I’m a transplanted Chicagoan, and was going to Due’s, sister restaurant to Uno’s, back in the 1960s. In 1968 I moved to California, but have family back there, so we get back every few years. Every time we go back to Chicago we go to Due’s. If you want an Uno’s pizza you can get them mail order and they come packed in dry ice.

We all know Chicago's Secret weapon against wintertime blues, the epic Chicago Deep Dish Pizza! One time I extended a layover at O'Hare just to take the El to Pizzaria Uno for four take out Deep Dish Pizzas. When I was ready to board the American flight, I was given the choice of putting either the pizzas or my laptop in the baggage section. The pizzas stayed with me! More than a meter...or 3+ feet of snow-ice on the ground, 'snowed last 9 days, some wind chills to -40 C or F, take your pick. 'Has not been above 32 F / 0 C in weeks, average temp has been about 0 F / -18 C and "up and down," mostly down, somewhat.
16 Feb there was 10 inches new snow and 0 F temp when we woke; by and large, life went on as usual. More snow on the way.
Many, many, many piles of snow in large parking lots bigger than inverted PT boats.

I hear you. Before moving back up north we were in the Corpus Christi area. Demo Derby on the roads Same is true up here for the 1st snow/ice and people until people get used to it again.
