My Uncle and Godfather passed away a few years ago. I did make him his ship for him, but it was the old Hasegowa kit, first model I ever made with the help of the good people here at Steel Navy.

Also made him a 1:72 scale vignette of him working under a Hell diver on the carrier deck.

If so I have some Gold Metal Model 1:700 WW-2 Carrier Decals you could have for free, just to thank a Vet.

I am actually considering trying it, as my uncle was a metal smith aboard Wasp cv-18, and maybe it would be cool to show a busy hanger deck.

Where would those references be?
