They don’t owe me any money. I just want to have the rights to them back so that I can self-publish them. Unfortunately, all of my contracts with them have been lost. Before she passed away, my mother went on a cleaning spree and tossed out everything that she deemed to be not important (at least to her) and my contracts were included in the unimportant designation. Your contract should specify what happens to the rights. They may revert to you, they may be sold back to you, or they may be part of the "property" Squadron will sell off to pay their debts.
If the contract is unclear you may want to talk to a lawyer. If Squadron owes you money you are unlikely to ever collect, perhaps you can get the rights in lieu through negotiation. Previous Message
Okay, so, here is a question for you Squadron/MMD experts. A few months back, in the summer,I contacted them to inquire if I could have the rights to my Vosper MTB, the 2003 version of my Schnellboot and my 2009 110’ Sub Chaser monographs reverted back to me. They said no, but now that they are going out of business, how can I get the materials for those back?
Can anyone here please help me with this?
