But, I'm Really close to finishing JS Kaga DDH-184, I have been adding the finishing touches on weaps, helos, and netting. For me, when I finish a ship, I like to place the hull #'s and name of the ship, to Officially call it 'Finished work'. I have let to post any photos of the FD of Kaga, but nothing to remarkable. I am getting excited to place those numerous lights installed in the hanger, just finished a couple of 'trash' A/C for the hanger deck. But I'm going to place some crews on the FD once I do a 'Little' weathering on the deck.
Hope you and fellows 'Down Under' are doing a 'Better New Year' than we are....but I'm optimistic!!
Lastly, I will be posting photos of JS Kaga soon, and another video of Kaga, but with the 'other' Kaga........ Stay Tuned!!!

Hi Mario, great to hear from you.
Seriously, I'm trying to build as many kits out of my stash of kits before I get taken out by covid or become permanently incapacitated by it. I know it doesn't make sense to anyone whether it's still a boxed kit or assembled. I think I'm at a higher level of anxiety and need to take my stress out on my unbuilt models.
Anyways, after reading the excellent thread earlier about scale toning down paint I think my yellows and reds on this model are too bright. It's something I'll look at doing in the future. Also, I've been looking at the Humbrol website on the subject of weathering and the tips they offer on rust effects. I think my work looks too clean.
All good as it's all part of my learning process to be a better modeller.
How's that JS KAGA coming along?
Please stay safe.
