I agree about the fit. I got through step 5 when I realized it just wasn't build out that great. I think I'll wait for the Flyhawk. Not like I don't have two dozen other options.

I would wait for Flyhawk's version. I built the Aoshima HMS Dorsetshire and was a little disappointed in the soft detail and overall feel of the kit. It also took some work to get the pieces to fit together well.
However, the Aoshima HMS Exeter is superb. I built it with no fit issues and except for some inaccuracies (which can be corrected) the kit builds up into a nice representation of Exeter. Previous Message
What's the best 1/700 scale County class out there? I was wasn't real happy with the Aoshima Dorsetshire. Not looking for any particular time frame or fit. I understand Flyhawk might have one in the pipeline. Would it be best to wait?
