...how things actually looked? Some of the authentic color photography from the Great War is absolutely outstanding and awesome. Well done colorized versions are an attempt to show us what the world looked like over a century ago. As long as its done well, why shouldn't we welcome it? Previous Message

The current classic Warships web page list a new book "German Battleships 1909-1919". I know this book has been a labor of love for Steve. He has spent a great deal of time colorizing several photographs for the book. Hopefully publication details will follow. My check is already in the mail.
