Capable-looking ship. Agreed, most interesting, new frigate type's being designed-marketed for export could bring Mitsui some serious income.

Japan certainly has enjoyed success with high quality exports of other products...including plastic ship models.

The circular CIC struck as rather "Star Trek" in this mind; intriguing.

looks like Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force is getting a FFG before we do in the US with their launching of this.....
