No bubble to burst sorry. Fact is I just don't care what either side says because they are NOT showing evidence to back themselves up. When they can prove it 100% maybe I'll be interested but the fact is the battlewagons only real claim to fame is the it blew up. On top of that I never really liked the look of that class of ship so bored is my answer. I feel sorry for the men killed but the ship itself never really did anything else.

The hyperbole was intended to illustrate a point.
When one presents a theory to overturn established fact, the onus of proof is on the ones proposing a new theory.
This is standard operating procedure in both science and historical studies.
One may propose anything one may choose, not matter how mundane or hyperbolic, but the proof remains on the ones making the theory.
I could propose the Arizona was painted in pink and purple polka dots, but without evidence also being supplied, it is just a proposal.
Ron put forward a theory that Arizona was repainted out of Ms1 in 1941 into a schemo that wasn't approved for the Pacific Fleet. To date, no documentary evidence has been provided. Until the evidence, beyond a model at the visitors center and a few painting, is presented it will remain an unproven theory.
Sorry to bust your bubble, but that's how it works. One does not get to propose a hypothes and insist other disprove it, which is exactly what you did. It is not the onus of those awaiting the evidence to be presented to disprove it never happened. Previous Message
Prove in wasn't under going repainting at the time. Have not seen evidence of that either. Previous Message
