Re: Green anti-fouling paint used at Rosyth ca. 1918
The text says black paint.
This ca. 1918 Charles Pears of a battleship at Rosyth being repainted has always fascinated me. Pears is very much a realistic painter. He would not use imaginary green anti-fouling paint as an effect. There are also a painting of a destroyer and a painting of a K boat submarine with green anti-fouling paint. https://www.iwm.org.uk/collections/item/object/21401
