Beautiful job John...always get a little jealous when I see all the beautiful models that people make.
Did I have fun and games with this Cyber Hobby/Dragon kit lower hull.
To get the hull looking "about right", I had to very carefully chop off about 2.5mm off of the top of the lower hull. Additionally, the bilge keels were way oversized and had to be replaced. The sonar dome was filled to give it a more integrated look into the hull. I then had to fabricate from plasti-card a new Transom to match the length of the upper hull.
When painting, I had to raise the boot topping 2.5mm to compensate for the plastic chopped off the lower hull. Correct draft was 30ft for these Cruisers.
