Re: USS Torsk in Baltimore (walkaround)

looks as though she has been painted and "spiffed up" since 'last visit to Baltimore.
If memory serves, primary difference between classes is thickness of pressure hull, not readily visible on models.
USS Torsk (SS-423) is one of the preserved Tench class submarines and the only Fleet Snorkel conversion, which I have seen. She is today a museum ship in Baltimore near the sloop USS Constellation , the cutter USCGC Taney and a fire ship.
