Hi Bruce: If you have to use super glue, use SLO-Zap in the yellow bottle. It gives you the most wiggle room while positioning parts. It starts to cure in about 30 seconds. Tell the gang in Tulsa that I said hi!

Thanks for the tip on how to use Elmer's glue. I've used Gator's Grip glue for years and it worked better than anything else for PE and rigging. SO sorry to hear that it will no longer be available. But Perhaps I can use Elmer's If I had to try to use super glue I would simply have to give up using PE I hate super glue!

I use white glue otherwise known as Elmer’s glue. I use for it photo-etch. I usually put a couple drops on my glue tin. Wait about 3 minutes or more (depends) until glue gets tacky then apply to my photo-etch. Drys clear. I have never done rigging so I can not say how it will work.

What are the alternatives? I've always used Gator Glue for rigging and P/E.

A recent posting on the IPMS USA website indicates that Gator Glue is stopping production. Kenny Loup’s (owner of Gator) house was seriously damaged by the multiple storms to hit Louisiana this season. No indication if or when production may resume
