TALLBOY AND GRANDSLAM were the first PC bombs, designed to be accurate and thus cause minimal local damage, their cost also meant they were not dropped at random but only on the specified target!
You have to forgive BBC, they live on another planet where detail is concerned, surprisngly enough they got something correct, ie Lutzow was a cruiser, insofar it was an armoured cruiser (Panzerkreuzer). But hey, go to Elvington Air Museum, nr. York, and stand next to Barnes Wallis's history and examples of his inventions. Having that said, it's probably non-PC to discuss the point of these weapons, cause and effect.
