I've goty one started....
....But I'm not going and not interested in killing my interest in it to rush it.
But that would be a perfect subject.
Damn Ed, somebody needs to do PT157 nicknamed "Aces and Eights" the boat commanded by Lt Liebenow that rescued Kennedy and the survivors of PT109.
The folks at Las Vegas have announced their 2021 convention theme awards, which includes 'Aces and Eights',the gambling reference may be quite appropriate for a Vegas show.
Their selection may be a little short-sighted looking toward aircraft, and I would like to challenge the ship model community to do an Ace ship model for the competition. How about there being a bunch of USS England (DE-635) entries on the table. She certainly qualifies for Ace status when she sank 6 Japanese subs in a 2 week period in May, 1944.
Any other Ace ships can play, USN, RN, or a DKM U-boat aces. Document your choice.
There is also a special award for a model of the Mayflower, being judged by the Mayflower society
