I agree, Revell army models were very good for the time. Do you remember the Revell multi kit gift set with the Long Tom with the tractor, Sherman, 105mm. The box art showed a desert scene with Patton in the center of a circle of infantry, sort of like Custer in the Sahara, with the Africa Corps playing the Sioux. However, as with their ship kits, it took more than a decade for Revell to release an army kit other than US Army, with the very notable exception of the Soviet T34/85. Now that was a fine kit. For the most part, if you wanted another country's Armor, Aurora beckoned, again just as in ship releases. I loved the Renewal kits because of their size and opening hatches and doors. However, I think the line of military models from Adams were the best.
