Re: Flyhawk HMS Invincible 1914 Question
Inflexible's forefunnel had been heightened in 1911 - Invincible still had the original short funnel, the same height as the other funnels. Invincible had a director control top fitted for her main armament, on a platform below the foretop; she had 4 x 36" searchlights on platforms (two either side) abreast the forefunnel (Inflexible had one searchlight each side there), and the 4" guns had been removed from the tops of "A" and "Y" turrets (and remounted in casemates in the forward superstructure). Invincible's 12" turrets were of a slightly different shape.
Were there any significant differences between Invincible and Inflexible when they were in the Falklands?
Hi does anyone know if Flyhawk plan to issue Inflexible and Indomitable, and if so when? Or should I be buying 3 Invincible kits???
