Re: What are you working on?
im finishing a build of the Minicraft Titanic for a customer
now he wants the 200 scale too! gotta love the 3 "M"s, models, movies, and money...i have to take back my past doggings of this kit, came out in early 70's so has some issues, but if you mostly ditch the instructions and lean on good old model building experience and know how, most of the issues can be easily overcome..having fun this time and its looking good for a vintage kit..God bless guys!!
Hawaii is in full lockdown mode, so I have oodles of time. Not a problem for a retiree like me. There are a lot of home repairs to be done. Repaired a drip in my bathtub yesterday. It was a bit of a struggle with unanticipated problems, as usual, but I was able to complete the repair.
I am now building a model of the SMS Elsass. Fortunately, SteelNavy had a review of the Combrig Elsass, which provided me with additional photos of the Combrig model that will be extremely helpful. The Braunschwig class of predreadnoughts of which Elsass is a member are very attractive ships in my view. I am mostly finished with the hull and am now working on the turrets.
What are you guys building/doing?
