Can't answer for the person you are addressing, but I fold national, and signal flag decals over a piece of aluminum foil then trim. My preference is to use white primer on the foil first as I believe it improves adhesion of the decals. The flags can then be bent and folded like they are waving in the wind, etc. Since they are stiffer with the foil they are easier to glue to signal lines, halyards, etc. Works equally well in any scale.
hello, may i ask you how you were able to do such a wonderful job on your signal flags, mine are giving me problem, wont fold in half properly, tearing apart, i havent even tried to fold the flag around a wire yet, i cant get that far so i just adhere the whole folded ripped apart flag to the " wire " , so on one side the wire is visible on the flag looking terrible, great work on the destroyer, its beautiful
