started near the beginning of summer....daughter getting phone calls/'Zoom' hellos and she doesn't even know the boy. He has been pretty consistent, where he left a note and a pink quartz on our front garden lamp. Called the school, changed daughter's e-m /password, call-blocking at home....but still finds a way.
SO...I finally got a home security system, to see who it is + hard drive. Nothing Too Serious.....but you Just Never know.
But as for models finishing up on 1/700 JS Hyuga DDH-181, a special model because of a few "Firsts" for me. She should be finished by the end of month.
Fires finally settled down a bit in SoCal, but we did have an EQ Late 2330 Friday. What's next??!!
Hawaii is in full lockdown mode, so I have oodles of time. Not a problem for a retiree like me. There are a lot of home repairs to be done. Repaired a drip in my bathtub yesterday. It was a bit of a struggle with unanticipated problems, as usual, but I was able to complete the repair.
I am now building a model of the SMS Elsass. Fortunately, SteelNavy had a review of the Combrig Elsass, which provided me with additional photos of the Combrig model that will be extremely helpful. The Braunschwig class of predreadnoughts of which Elsass is a member are very attractive ships in my view. I am mostly finished with the hull and am now working on the turrets.
What are you guys building/doing?
