Re: 1/35 masterpiece models
Masterpiece models are a white resin. They require a lot of work there are a number of pieces I highly recommend going to their website and downloading the instructions for this kit and really studying them. There is a lot of interior detailing that is sadly lacking in the Revell/Monogram 1/48 kit. It is an expensive kit for a first time resin build and will not be easy although the 1/35 size might make it easier(?)
i have seen the word "resin" many times, usually a different category than sprue kits ? the images i have seen resin is a beige color or tan, and the ships, i think, it looks like , are already half built, with few parts to add,the material also looks thicker , i certainly dont mind doing homework to find out what resin kits are and how they come together, thank you
They released a 1/35 resin kit not too long ago, infact some one was selling one here about $50 off retail $150 if I remember right. You can go to their website and even download the instructions for their kits. They have quite a complete line of Brown Water Navy kits and just released a PBR Mark 1 and will soon release an update kit for the Tamiya MK 2 that I will definitely get.
looking for a PCF ( swift boat ) from vietnam era 1:48 scale, or smaller or larger doesnt matter, that just happens to be the scale that every hobby site i visited and found they were "out of stock", and apparently its not a popular boat, but it happens to be to me
