Re: 1/700 Brooklyn class light cruiser
The Niko kits are all mid to late war versions. Mideship Models made a 1942 version, but it is very rare and Freetime never rereleased it when they took over the Midship masters. The Corsair Armada kit is early war, representing one ship on December 7 and Honolulu during the first 6 months of the war. However, I believe Mike has noted that it is not in production and may be awaiting some improvements to the kit by him.
Hi Charlie, Niko released 1/700 CL-41, -42, -43 and -50 of Brooklyn class and Freetime still has the kits. Hope this helps.
Does anyone make a pre-WW2 Brooklyn class cruiser? If not not what kit if any would be close? TIA
