Re: I'd like to know, too
I wish I had known that a few years ago when I had my FLETCHER Class DD (as the USS BLACK, DD-666) restored by Stan Pienkowski, ..... lol!
Thanks, Tim. I'd like to know, too. Maybe contact a museum with a PT boat or the LCS(L)(3) ? Of course, they may refer you to your own books.
Found these references, which you might already know about:
"4.5-Inch BBR Old Faithful" with source citations
OS 209-69, Rockets and Launchers, All Types (1944)
US Rockets and Fuzes (1945)
I designed and etched 1/350 PE launchers for Mousetrap and bombardment rockets.
I know what you're saying, sir. My fathter's SC-699 had Mousetraps in those type of launchers. But, PTs carried them too, see here:

A demtleman who owned a 63-foot AVR and owns a 85-foot ASRC told me that ARB-22 carried two of these lauchers on her foredeck (these are for my model of ARB-22 which Kyle Lord is building for me now). He needs to know what color the rockets were.
Do you know?
I bought them on Shapeways. Here: https://www.shapeways.com/product/5FLVN842D/1-72-scale-3-5-inch-rocket-launcher-mk-2-mod-1?optionId=165083572&li=ostatus
Does anyone here know what color(s) was/were used on the 4.5-inch beach barrage rockets which were launched from this type of launchers.
