Thanks so much for the help. I really have been away from the hobby too long. I've noticed that the site that shall not be mentioned sells them. Do you know any other seller?
Are you certain you mean Scalemates? They do not sell anything. They are just a "kit database site." The main thing I use them for is their timelines/ kit re-release or re-issue data.
For example (from my last major use of them) they list all the Italeri 1/720 Nimitz class kits on a timeline of when they were first issued, along with all the other companies that also sold those kits (mainly Testors and Revell) and they show box art of those releases. As they rely on contributor input, they can only list "known reviews" if someone submits one to them. So, for many kits, they "don't know of any reviews available." So, they are not a good site for finding kit contents. Their "strong point" is kit histories.
But, they are not retailers. They sell nothing. Sorry.
Here's their home page: https://www.scalemates.com
By itself, not particularly organized/useful. Drop down menu icon in the upper left is where you start useful site navigation.
Here is the only Swedish battleship I find in using their site search: https://www.scalemates.com/kits/fairy-kikaku-s033-sweden-marine-defense-battleship-thor-1896-1937--1095332
Notice this is not for sale...no way of ordering. See the blue box labeled "Full History"? That is their "review." Since this is the only kit of this by this maker, and it has not been re-released as anything else, the history listed will be brief. Find something that has been "repopped" "a million ways to Sunday," and then you might find this site more useful.
Notice that they do point out this kit is available from Hobby Link Japan...you can go there to order one. If you search the web, you might also find other sources...HLJ is just "where they're aware it is available" because either HLJ themselves, or someone else, put a link there.
I realize that this site may have been discussed here in the past. So I humbly ask if anyone has done, hopefully happy, business with them? They're offerings have induced a state of happy insanity in this ageing modeler. Swedish battleships...ooooh ahhhh.
