Re: CC Lee models
I had several CC Lee kits back in the 1990's. One was a poor copy of Tamiya's 1/350 Musashi. The molding was soft, the hull just didn't seem as rigid or stable as the Tamiya Yamato one that I had. It also had sink holes in areas that were visible (ie. 18" gun blast bags). The other kits were an 1/300 scale Australian Oliver Hazard FFG, the Adelaide and the 1/300 Aurora. Those kits seem decent. Early Revell quality and details sounds about right.
so its actually decent for its age your saying? kinda like the old classic Revell stuff?
I have their HMS Aurora. Two actually. Decent kit though hardly state of the art. In 300 scale as I recall. Always been hard to find.
