I ordered a 1/350 Joy Yard Missouri from a vendor in China back in mid May, expected arrival listed as Sept 30. However recent order from the UK arrived in a week.
International customers continue to report unpredictable shipping disruption and delays.
It seems that packages shipped from the US to international customers during March and April were the worst affected.
For example, a customer in Sweden emailed today to say that the models I sent him in April arrived at his home this week . Yep, 3 months from North Carolina to Sweden.
Another customer in Switzerland has yet to receive the models I sent him in March. Considering that package is probably lost, replacement models have been sent.
Just 2 weeks ago, a customer in Austria received the models I sent him in March. With loss of tracking after 8 weeks, replacement models were sent. The replacements arrived a week after the "lost" package was turned up at customs and was successfully delivered.
The USPS returned the models sent to a customer in South Africa as temporarily undeliverable. Hopefully, the temporary suspension to SA will be lifted soon.
Here's the USPS webpage which lists current locations that are temporarily suspended: https://faq.usps.com/s/article/Mail-Service-Alerts-and-Updates
For locations not suspended, orders shipped very recently are arriving relatively quickly. For example, a customer in the UK wrote to say that the models I sent him 9 days ago arrived in good shape just yesterday. Excellent!
International shipping remains high adventure.
For those waiting, thank you for your patience!
