Re: Tim's Revision of his MAS boat Book
As far as I know, and as far as Tim knows, it is currently on Amazon and is available for purchase. Just click on the link.
I can assure you that those names aren't Tim, sir. As tempting as it is to him, he will not post here.
I do not blame him for posting under fake names "A Real Historian" and "Some Dude". He has books to sell and his unique opinions on forbidden political subjects would not help. I look forward to reading the updated book, Stefano and Erminio Bagnasco are well respected experts. Although for some reason I thought they were co-authors on the original work, I am not sure where I got that from. When will it be out?
Tell Tim he should not be afraid to post here, that he should just stay away from political nonsense.
Mr. Connelly has asked me to post this announcement for him because after how he was treated by two people here regarding his request for calmness after some comments regarding a vendor's comments about COVID-19, he doesn't feel safe posting on SN.
He bought the rights to the book back from Nimble Books, LLC.
He then contacted Stefano Bagnasco, the son of LCDR. Erminio Bagnasco, I.N. RET. (the Italian expert on MAS boats) and through this connection, the Commander agreed to look at the text of the original book and corrected the errors in it.
Then, Mr. Connelly, with the great assistance of both - the Commander and his son, added more text to the book (throughout it), added more photos and line drawings (the drawings being from the Commander). In essence, it's a new and much better book than what it was. Mr. Connelly is proud of it ... and he's grateful to the Commander and his son. He says they're very nice men.
