Many thanks. N/t
Hey Steve. It took me a while too (It was the third County I built). What works best for me is to dry fit the barrels into the shield first and then glue the base. I didn't push the base down all the way until I used the tweezers to make sure the barrels extended past the shield evenly and the pins for that part lined up with the slots they fit in. Then I squeezed it together. Still was a PITA! Oh and a bit of coconut rum over ice helped keep the frustration in check!
I am currently building the Aoshima 1/700 HMS Cornwall, having previously built the HMS Kent and the under-scale HMS Dorsetshire. On each build I have struggled to fit the secondary armament together and this 3rd one is once again causing me great annoyance and irritation.
Has anyone had these problems, and if so how did you overcome them?
