Look up the Garrett photos on station in the Mekong River with the PPBR's tied up alongside. Then what are the long spars at deck level out over the side with the PBR's tied up below? Whats their name? They have two long ones for and aft on both sides along with shorter ones. Thanks Keith
They're called boat booms.

, and that LST was not a tender for small boats, so no boat booms included. Sorry.
Building the AFV LST kit for a friend who was an Officer Steve Ludeman on the Garett county in 1968 on the Mekong River. Need drawings or photos on the booms-spars that were used for the mooring of the PBRs. Need to know the shape and rigging of them and dimentions . And what is the correct name or term for them.
